DIY Toadstool Invitations for Fairy Party

Send little Fairy Houses as invitations and set the mood for an Enchanted Fairy party. The guests will have fun opening the latch of the fairy house to read the party information.

What you will need:

1. Red cardstock

2. White Paper

3. Light Brown or Beige Cardstock

4. Dark brown, striped cardstock

5. Mini Brad

6. Circle Punch

1. Draw and cut out these shapes on different cardstock or heavy weight papers - mushroom cap in red, base in light brown and door in striped.

2. Glue the top edge of the light brown cutout to the bottom edge of the red toadstool cap.

3. Glue the right edge of the door to the light brown cardstock and crease.

4. Glue the printed party information inside the striped door flap on to the light brown base.

5. Turn the invitation upside down and insert a brad right outside of the left side center of the door. Turn the invitation and flatten the ends of the brad. One end will go over the door. This is the 'latch' that will need to be unbolted to read the information.

6. Punch out white circles and glue them to complete the toadstool.
