DIY Cupcake Party Invitations
A cute little handmade invitation to celebrate the first birthday
of an equally cute birthday girl or boy.

What
you will need:
-
Brown and White Striped Cardstock
-
Pink Cardstock or Scrapbook Paper
-
Hot Pink Paper Scrap for Cherry
-
Rub-on Stickers - cupcake and party
-
Felt Tipped Pen
-
Ruler, Pencil and a round object
How To:
1. You will need to cut out some easy shapes from the cardstock.
First, cut out the cupcake wrapper from the striped brown paper.
Click on the image below to open full size pattern and print. If
you feel confident, you can also do it without this template.

2. Fold at the center and press to form a cup. Fold the side
sleeves and glue them to make an envelope to tuck the party
information (and the cupcake inside).
3. Now cut out the cupcake from the pink paper. Click on the image
below to open full size pattern and print. If you feel confident,
you can also do it without this template. It is only a semi-circle
with two straight lines ruled out.

4. Stamp or use a sticker your party information on this shape and
you can later fill in the details in your own handwriting.
5. Use a rub-on sticker to transfer a single cupcake with candle
image on to the cupcake part which will be seen.
6. Cut out, or if you have a craft punch, punch out a circle from
a scrap of hot pink paper and glue it at the top in place of a
cherry.
7. Using another piece of the pink paper, cut out a rectangle
shape and mention the birthday child's name using felt tipped
pens.
Insert the cupcake into the wrapper and deliver your invitations!
