DIY Baking/Cooking Apron Party Invitations
These invitations can be used for a young girls baking and cooking
party or for a grown-up women's recipe exchange party or even a
Christmas baking party!

What you will need:
-
Patterned Cardstock (if for a young girls party, you can use a
color similar to the real aprons that you are going to hand out)
-
Thick white computer paper
-
Co-ordinating piece of solid paper
-
Silver brads
How To:
1. Print your invitation wording on a white computer paper.
Arrange it so that it falls within the apron.
2. Print out this pattern (click to open full sized pattern) on
the other side of the printed paper and cut it out. Or you can
print it on a different paper and then use that a template by
positioning it over the printed wording and then cutting out the
white paper.

3. Now place the cut apron template on the wrong side of the
patterned paper and draw a rough outline with a pencil. Cut the
patterned paper slightly smaller than the white apron.
4. Cut out three strips of paper from a white cardstock scrap (or
computer paper). Use brads to adhere the apron neck and belts made
out of these strips. The back of the brads will be hidden when
this apron is glued to the white one.
5. Stamp or print the party announcement wording on a
co-ordinating paper cut into a rectangle and glue it on the apron
in place of the pocket.
6. Glue the patterned apron (ready with the belts and pocket) on
the white apron. Take the belts behind and glue them criss-crossed
overlapping the wording.
