Birthday Gift Ideas for 3 year old
A 3 year old child is finally open to all those '3 years and
above' stuff that you come across in every shop but there are also
other things besides toys that would interest a 3 year old.
1. Books: 3 year olds start valuing their books. Gift them
books on their favorite topics and/or stories. Bedtime books are
also a good idea.
2. Movies: Every 3 year old has a favorite cartoon and will
be overjoyed to receive movie DVDs of their favorite character.
3. Learning Skates: Encourage the child to try the
wonderful sport of skating by gifting them a pair of baby skates.
4. Trampoline: Children love to bounce and can never seem
to get enough of it. Gift them an indoor or outdoor trampoline to
bounce to their heart's content.
5. Pretend Play: Now is the time for a full fledged kitchen
countertop or a snow-cone making toy machine. 3 year olds will
spend hours with these toys.
6. Art and Craft: Drawing books, crayons, pencils, finger
paints, craft kits, stamps, punches etc. are all going to make the
child very, very happy!
7. Magnetic Dress Up: Magnetic dress up dolls are available
for girls as well as boys and 'Melissa and Doug' have some very
good ones. They make for a safe play object for the children.
8. Custom-made Costume: Make or get stitched a custom done
costume of the birthday child's favorite character and watch them
dance with joy!
9. Musical Instruments: Now is a very good time to gift a
child a mini-synthesizer or a mini-guitar. These instruments are
made almost like exact replicas of the real ones and far ahead of
the baby stuff.
10. Character Toys: Gift them a cuddly or other toy of
their favorite TV cartoon character or something that goes with
it. For e.g., if she has a Dora doll, gift her a 'backpack', if he
has a 'Doraemon' cuddly, gift him a Doraemon lunch box set.
11. Adventure Gear: 3 year olds take keen interest in what
Mickey and Diego and Dora use and they will be glad to get
life-jackets, flashlights, magnifying glass, binoculars and other
stuff inline with these.
