Birthday Party Games for Toddlers
Pass the...
Pass the parcel can be adapted to any number of themes. Only the
object to be passed has to be in your theme. Ask kids to sit in a
circle and hand them an object (see below for ideas) asking them
to pass it to the next child when the music begins. When the music
stops, the child caught with the object in hand is asked to
perform an act (recite a rhyme, dance etc.) and the game continues
with the rest of the children.
Here are some things that make for a themed 'parcel':
1. A classic wrapped prize
2. A wand for a Fairy or Princess party
3. A Pirate hat for a Pirate party
4. A toy animal for a barnyard party
5. A large conch for a beach party
