DIY Handbag Party Favor Bags
Handbag shaped party favor bags for a Princess, Fairy, Makeover or
Tea Party. Delightful little bags for delightful young girls!
You will need:

Gift Wrap Paper - printed with graphics of your chosen theme

scissors/craft knife

glue
-
heavy card stock
-
decorative button
1.
Download the template for the purse/handbag and print it out.
Trace it on the wrong side of the gift wrap or draw it yourself.
2. Crease all folds and flaps. Start assembling the bag by gluing
together the bottom flaps first and then the side flap.
3. From heavy card stock, cut out a rectangle the same size as the
bottom of the bag and two handles. Use the original template to
cut these out. Insert the rectangle in the bag and fix it at the
bottom. Glue the handles to the gift wrap handles to make them
sturdy.
4. Insert the loop in the wedge cut out on the front side. Glue a
decorative button under the loop to finish.
